Name a time when you bought into false advertising. When you thought something was true but it turned out to be far less impressive when you got it.
Read Philippians 4:8-9
To think on that which is true, means to think of that which is dependable, valid or reliable. What people or things in your life fit into this category?
Read John 8:31-32, 44 & Ephesians 6:12-17
When we buy into lies we eventually get burned. But God is reliable and true. What will we be set free from when we “know the truth” that this passage mentions. Why is it important to discern truth from lies when it comes to the spiritual battles we fight in life?
Noble refers to that which is grand, majestic and awe-inspiring. Things that cause us to lift our eyes toward heaven and give glory to God. Who/What causes you to “lift your eyes” toward him?

Reorienting our thinking is incredibly difficult if our minds are filled with other things (negative, immoral, evil things). What can we do to rid our minds of these things and avoid them in the future?
Read 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
Instead of being enslaved by our thinking Paul says we should “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ,” and he reminds us that, in Christ, we have divine power to do it. What is one thing this week you can do to change your thinking habits? How can you begin the habit of taking captive every thought?
